SUBJECT: RESOLUTION OF ACCEPTANCE, NOTICE OF COMPLETION
RANDY BODHAINE, CONTRACT#46345, 46346 and 46447
This Board as the Board of Directors of the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District on June 1, 2004,
contracted with Randy Bodhaine, for performing mowing, rubbish removal, discing and bulldozing work, in
connection with the weed abatement program of the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District,for work to be
performed within the District; and
Fire Chief Keith Richter reports that said work has been inspected and complies with the approved pians,
special provisions, and standard specifications for these contracts and recommends acceptance as complete as
of December 31, 2004.
Therefore, said work is accepted as completed on said date, and the Clerk shall file with the County Recorder a
copy of the Resolution and Notice as a Notice of Completion for said contracts.

SPECIFIC REQUEST(S)OR RECOMMENDATION(S)&BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION
RECOMMENDATION(S):
APPROVE and ADOPT the attached Resolution of Acceptance, Notice of Completion,
for weed abatement work performed by Fundy Bodhaine for the Contra Costa County
Fire Protection District.
FISCAL. IMPACT:
The cost of the above work is included in the District's FY 2004-05 Budget and is a non-
general fund.
BACKGROUNDIREASON(SIFOR RECOMMENDATION(S):
The Contra Costa County Fire Protection District contracted with Randy Bodhaine for
weed abatement that was essential to abate fire hazards in accordance with Contra
Costa County Ordinance 2002-32. Keith Richter, Fire Chief, reports that this abatement
work has been inspected and is considered complete.
