The Canyon Lakes GRAD is funded through revenues generated by special assessments on properties within the boundaries of the Canyon Lakes CHAD. Canyon Lades GHAD will Fund 100% of the contract costs. The CHAD has adopted and maintains a comprehensive Preventative Maintenancepro rram to address the prevention and mitigation:of the effects of landslides. In June of 2005, the GHAD solicited qualified contractors to perform GHAD repairs for Fiscal Year 2005/2006. In July of 2005, four pre-qualified contractors were invited to submit bids for the Preventative Maintenance Program. "Three bids were received and opened in the office of the General Manager on Auests 2005. The lowest of the bids received was from Dover Construction,, Tracy, California. :funds have been allocated in Fiscal Year 2005/2006 construction budget oar this contract of 10 1,000. The GHA 's Preventative Maintenance Program is a vital component in fulfilling the GHAT 's mandate t prevent, mitigate and control landslides whenever possible.
