REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATIONS AND BACKGROUND:
The Public Works Department has applied a slurry seal and then a soft median barrier with rumble strips to Vasco
Road. Due to the lane closures and night work, enhanced traffic control in the work zones was needed. The
Department of California Highway Patrol has provided the County with a Reimbursable Services Agreement
amendment for the completion of this project.
CONSEQUENCES OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
If the amendment is not approved, the California Highway Patrol will not be paid for the services they rendered.
