FISCAL IMPACT: This action will result in an annual cost of $10,643.00. Funding for this action will come from the cancellation of position # 12742 and FQHC funding will act as offset for this request. BACKGROUND: The Department is requesting this action due to the complexities and level of experience needed to adequately support the Aspect Call Center System. Network Administrator I and Network Administrator II are not a flexible series classification. The Network Administrator II position will expand the Division's support of the Automated Call Distribution (ACD) system and the planned extension of the call center to support Interactive Voice Responses. HR Staff has reviewed the duties to be performed and determined that Network Administrator II is the appropriate classification. The Department of Information Technology has been consulted regarding this matter and agrees that Network Administrator II is the appropriate classification. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: The consequence of negative action will result in delayed expansion of the automated call center and interactive voice response systems.
