Richter — Costa Contra Costa County Fire Protection District County DATE: December 20, 2005 OrTq EUON SUBJECT: Insurance Proceeds for Replacement of Two (2) Vehicles I SPECIFIC REOUEST(S)OR RECOMMENDATION(S)&BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION RECOMMENDATION: APPROVE attached appropriation and revenue adjustments reflecting the receipt of insurance proceeds for the purchase of a replacement Honda Civic Hybrid sedan and a Ford F-150 Pickup truck. FINANCIAL IMPACT: The District's FY 2005-06 General Fund budget will be increased by $56,226.24, the amount of insurance proceeds. BACKGROUND/REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATION: During December 2004 and May 2005,la District Honda Civic Hybrid sedan and a Ford F-150 Pickup truck were. involved in accidents. Both vehicles were damaged beyond repair and need to be replaced. Now that the insurance proceeds for replacement vehicles have been received, the new revenue needs to be recognized and appropriated for expenditure.
