APPROVE an Amendment to the Revenue Lease with Richmond Elementary School, a non- profit corporation, commencing (December 1, 2005, for the premises at 1014 Florida Avenue, Richmond under the terms and conditions more particularly set forth in the Amendment to Lease. 2. AUTHORIZE the Director of General Services, or designee, to EXECUTE the Amendment to the Lease. FINANCIAL IMPACT Commencing December 1, 2005 through September 30, 2007, the annual rent from the Richmond Elementary School shall be $9,000. This rental is a decrease of $38,500 during this period. Revenues are credited to the Community Services Department to offset the operating expenses for the facility. BACKGROUND Community Services has contracted with the Richmond Elementary School to provide childcare development programs in the modular building since October 2004. The initial rental rate was established by the Community Services Department to cover the estimated operating costs of the facility including custodial services. Custodial services were taken over by Richmond Elementary resulting in decreased operating costs. This amendment reflects the decrease in operating costs of the facility.
