Dist. 111) (Ordinance No. 2004-40) SPECIFIC REQUEST(S) OR RECOMMENDATION(S) & BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION RECOMMENDATION ADOPT Ordinance No. 2004-40 to rezone approximately 4.38 acres from General Agricultural, A-2, to Single Family Residential, R-40, as introduced by the Board on October 20, 2004. FISCAL IMPACT None. The applicant is responsible for the cost of processing the rezoning request. BACKGROUND On October 20, 2004 the Board conducted a hearing on the County Planning Commission recommendation to rezone 4.38 acres located at#999 North Gate Road in the Walnut Creek/North Gate area from General Agricultural (A-2) to Single Family Residential, R-40. After completing the public hearing, the Board voted to adopt the proposed rezoning; introduced the ordinance giving effect to the rezoning; waived the reading; and directed staff to return with the second reading for the adoption of the proposed rezoning.
