The original contract amount for William Self Associates, Inc. assumed limited archaeological resources on the project site. The amendment to the Consulting Services Agreement is needed to address the numerous and unique archaeological/cultural resources and Native American burials identified during the mitigation and construction phases of the project. CONSEQUENCES OF NEGATIVE ACTION: If the Consulting Services Agreement is not amended, it will delay the completion of environmental compliance causing delays in construction.
