Report on the 2003 Contra Costa County Combined Charities Campaign I am very pleased to report that Contra Costa County employees have once again made our charity campaign a great success. As of January 12, 2004, charitable contributions totaled $305,232.96 (spreadsheet is attached). All of the individual Department Campaign Coordinators worked extremely hard to make this year's campaign a success and each will receive a personal thank you letter. A list of the Department Coordinators is attached. I have also acknowledged all raffle donations received which were provided by many business owners in the county (list attached). The winners have already been awarded their prizes. I would like to personally acknowledge and thank all of the Charity Federation representatives and their volunteers for all of their efforts, and also to my co-chair, Maurice Shiu, Public Works Director. This has been a very rewarding experience for all of us.
