On this date the Board of Supervisors adjourned this meeting in memory of
Jeanne Tetrault. Jeanne was a Building Inspector II in the Neighborhood
Preservation Program in the Building Inspection department since May
2001.
Jeanne worked closely with homeowners and contractors to remodel
substandard houses. Jeanne was a mentor and leader who also developed
training programs in the Department.
Jeanne Tetrault was born December 10, 1944, and passed away on January
5, 2004.

As per your request, Carlos wrote the following paragraph about Jeanne's career with our
Department. She will be sorely missed.
Jeanne Tetrault was born December 10, 1944 and died Monday, January 5, 2004 following a
long illness. Jeanne was a Building Inspector 11 in the Neighborhood Preservation Program in
the Building Inspection Department since May 2001. Jeanne worked closely with homeowners
and contractors to remodel substandard houses. The Department was fortunate to have someone
like Jeanne who brought 22 years of experience in general contracting, estimating, job
supervision and design before coming to work for the Department. Homeowners and contractors
alike loved to work with Jeanne who brought such great professionalism and empathy to her job.
Her fellow coworkers will always remember Jeanne as a leader and mentor who also developed
training programs in the Department. Jeanne was an active member of the National Trades
Women's Conference, and edited a magazine for women in the trades. Our thoughts and prayers
are with Jeanne's family at this time.
