Gethin joined the United States Air Force in 1941. Gethin was a member of many local organizations,including the Crockett Community Foundation,the Striped Bass Club and was a Board member of the Crockett Senior Committee for 12 years. Gethin James was born on January 16, 1923, and passed away on December 24, 2043. He attended Carquinez'I School and graduated in 1941 from John Swett High School before enils United States Air Force.
