Stefanie Wan Ogtrop
WHEREAS, Ms. Stefanie van Ogtrop began her employment with Contra
Costa County on January 15, 1969 as a Clerk Typist at the County Clerk-
Recorder's Office, and
WHEREAS, Ms. van,Ogtrop commenced her career with the Centra Costa
County Library on June 2, 1969 as a Library Clerk; and
WHEREAS, Stefanie van Ogtrop received a Master's in Librarianship from
San Jose State University in 1971; and
WHEREAS, Ms. van Ogtrop was a librarian for the Contra Costa County
Library from January 21974 through January 2, 1979;a Branch Librarian
at the Orinda Library from January 2, 1979 through July 23, 1979; and
has been a SeniorBranch Librarian at the Danville Library since July 23,
1979, and
WHEREAS, Stefanie van Ogtrop's enthusiasm dedication and her
exceptional commitment to her job and to her community serve as a
model and inspiration for others,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of
Contra Costa County COMMENDS and THANKS Stefanie van Ogtrop
for her exemplary work for the past thirty-five years on behalf of the
County, the Contra Costa County Library and the citizens of Danville.
PASSED by a unanimous vote of the Board of Supervisors members
