GLOVER ABSTAIN:NONE Subject: AMENDMENT TO PERSONNEL j Resolution No. 20041_ MANAGEMENT REGULATION j PART 720) WHEREAS, THE Human Resources Director has requested, and the County Administrator has recommended that an amendment to Personnel Management Regulation, Part 720 be adopted, AND Personnel Management Regulation, Part 720 is beneficial to the County in that it provides for the selective certification of candidates, on a departmental basis, who have already been performing related duties. This action is expected to result in savings to the County because temporary employees have demonstrated the ability to perform the related duties; AND This amendment being necessary to adopt, on a permanent basis, the provisions previously adopted on a temporary basis, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors in its capacity as governing Board of the County of Contra Costa, and all districts which it is the ex-officio governing Board, amends the Contra Costa County Personnel Management Regulation, Part 720, to provide: Part 720.
