HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 10212003 - CONVENE October 21, 2003 CONVENE MEETING OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY October 21, 2003 Chair Mark DeSaulnier convened the meeting of the Board of Supervisors this day at 9:40 a.m., in the Board Chambers, Room 107, of the County Administration Building, 651 Pine Street,Martinez, California. The Deputy Clerk called the roll, Supervisors present were: John Gioia,District I Gayle B. Uilkema, District II Millie Greenberg, District III Federal D. Glover, District V And Chair, Mark DeSaulnier,District IV At approximately 12:00 p.m,the Board adjourned to Closed Session. At approximately 1:00, the Board reconvened to their chambers and County Counsel advised that by unanimous vote,with all Supervisors present, the Board authorized the initiation of litigation in two cases. The defendants, the action and other particulars about the case will be disclosed upon inquiry once the case is formally commenced. The Board then proceeded with their afternoon agenda item.
