HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 10212003 - C1-C3 THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA Adopted this Resolution on October 21, 2003 by the following vote: AYES: SUPERVISORS GIOIA, UILKEMA, GREENDERG, GLOVER AND DESAULNIER NOES: NONE ABSENT: NONE ABSTAIN: NONE RESOLUTION NO. 2003/633 SUBJECT: Approve and Authorize the Public Works Director to fully close a portion of Coventry Road on October 31,2003 from 3:00 pm through 10:00 p ,for the purpose of a Halloween block party, Kensington area. (District I) RC 03-19 IT IS BY THE BOARD RESOLVED that permission is granted to Lida&Farid Dormishian to fully close Coventry Road, except for emergency traffic, on October 31, 2003 for the period of 3:OOpm through 10:OOpm subject to the following conditions: 1. Traffic will be detoured via neighboring streets. 2. All signing to be in accordance with the State of California Manual of Trak Controls. 3. Lida & Fad Dormishaian shall comply with the requirements of the Ordinance Code of Contra Costa County. 4. Have on file with the County Public Works Department at the Application and Permit Center a Certificate of Insurance in the amount of$1,000,000 for Comprehensive General Public Liability which names the County as an additional insured. 5. Obtain approval for the closure from the Sheriff's Department,the California Highway Patrol and the Fire District. The Contra Costa Board of Supervisors RESOLVES that: On the basis of a traffic and engineering survey and recommendations thereon by the County Public Works Department's Traffic Engineering Division, and pursuant to County Ordinance Code Sections 46-2.002-46-2.012,the following traffic regulation is established (and other action taken as indicated): Pursuant to Section 22507 of the California Vehicle Code declaring parking to be prohibited at all times on the west side of Reef Point Court (Road No. 1785B), Rodeo area, beginning at a point 225 feet south of the south curb extension of Reef Point Drive and extending southerly a distance of 12 feet.
