value of the parcel(s) for the purpose of determining the cancellation fee of Land Conservation
Contract 4-76 (Humphrey) and requesting to be advised the recording of the Certificate of
Cancellation.

SUBJECT: CANCELLATION VALUATION OF LAND CONSERVATION CONTRACT FOR
HUMPHREY PROPERTY
Reference is made to a request by the Community Development Department for the cancellation of a portion
of Land Conservation Contract 4-76 covering a parcel of 23.43 acres, further identified as a portion of
Assessor's Parcel No. 193-190-009, 193-200-005, 193-200-017, 193-200-019.
Pursuant to Government Code Section 51283, the County Assessor hereby certifies to the Board of
Supervisors the following value as of September 22, 2003 for the purpose of determining the cancellation fee:
Cancellation Valuation: $9,256,000
The cancellation fee shall be an amount equal to 12 1/2% of the cancellation valuation. In this case, the
cancellation fee is $1,157,000. This fee is only valid if paid, or a Certificate of Contract is issued within one
year from the date of recording of the Certificate of Tentative Cancellation.
Kindly advise this office of the recording of the Certificate of Cancellation.
