FISCAL IMPACT: This Contract is funded 100%©by State Supportive Housing Initiative Act(SI-11A)Funds. CHILDREN'S IMPACT STATEMENT: This program supports the following Board of Supervisors' community outcomes: "Children Ready For and Succeeding in School"; "Families that are Safe, Stable, and Nurturing"; and "Communities that are Safe and Provide a High Quality of Life for Children and Families". Expected program outcomes include an increase in positive social and emotional development as measured by the Child and Adolescent Functional Assessment Scale(CAFAS). BACKGROUND/REASON(S)FOR RECOMMENDAT10"): This Contract meets the social needs of County's population in that it provides support services to County residents that are homeless and have a diagnosis of mental illness or a dual-diagnosis of mental illness and substance abuse. For a number of years, Phoenix Programs, Inc., has provided vocational, rental assistance, and other homeless support services to County's HHISN clients. Approval of Contract #25-047-2 will allow the Contractor to provide services through June 30, 2004.
