HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 01142003 - C6-C7 RESOLUTION HONORING RESOLUTION NO. 2003/32 DENNIS GARRISON AS THE LAFAYETTE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE BUSINESSPERSON OF THE YEAR WHEREAS;Dennis Garrison tirelessly and quietly contributes his time and proactiveinvolvement to the City of Lafayette; and WHEREAS,Dennis Garrison serves as the President of two major athletic clubs as well as serving on the Board of Directors at the Lafayette and San Ramon Chambers. He is an active leader and fundraiser for the American Heart Association and the American Cancer Society, He has been a leader for the American Heart Association for the last four years helping to build the Board and increase revenues; and WHEREAS,Dennis Garrison is the consummate volunteer leader in many community organizations. He quietly bestows wise counsel and financial support to a number of projects; and WHEREAS, Dennis Garrison has put his money and his heart where his mouth is.
