REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATION/BACKGROUND: This amendment is needed in order to assist Public Works Department staff with specialized archeology and architecture surveys and studies for the Orwood Bridge Replacement project IV. CONSEQUENCES OF NEGATIVE ACTION: If the contract amendment is not approved, the County will not complete the necessary archeology and architecture studies and reports in a timely manner and will not comply with National Environmental Policy Act(NEPA).
