On this date the Board of Supervisors adjourned this meeting in
memory of Gina Martin, Chief Clerk of the Board of
Supervisors. Gina, was a County Employee for 23 years, and
was a resident of Brentwood. Gina was 45 years of age.

NO BOARD ACTION WAS TAKEN

Georgina Martin
Georgina Martin Georgina Martin, age 45, died Friday, August 29, 2003
Delta Medical Center in Antioch after a lengthy illness. A native of IV
moved to Brentwood at the age of 3. Georgina was a 1976 graduate of L
School, attended both Humphry's Business College in Stockton and Lo
College, graduating with an Associates degree. She was a memt
Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Brentwood, and the Ce:
Club of Contra Costa County. Georgina was employed by Contra Costa
23 years, her last position being a supervisor. Being very family oriented
watching her sons participate in various sport activities, and enjoyed de
her husband. Georgina is survived by her husband, Leo Martin; and her
Leo Martin Jr., Adrian Nicholas Martin, and Roberto Carlos Martin, all of E
her parents, Jesus and Rosario Barajas of Brentwood; her sisters, Isab{
of Antioch, Lorena Chavarela of Brentwood, Berenice Arteaga of Brent
Rosemary Viveros of Oakley. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive
will be Tuesday, September 2, 2003 from 12 Noon until 8:00 p.m. with i
7:00 p.m. at Brentwood Funeral Home. The Mass will be Wednesday, Se
2003 at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in I
