At the start of the school year, I was elected to the Board of Trustees. As Board member, I am enabled to help my peers through a direct, efficient method to minimize the budget cuts. The board was quick to recognize the skills i have and appointed me as media relations chairman for our parcel tax campaign. The Countywide Youth Commission has not sufficiently demonstrated its effectiveness in promoting neither the needs of students nor committing to direct action. As a result, I have chosen to allocate the remainder of time and energy into passage of the our local parcel tax. Please consider this my letter of resignation.
