The Contra Costa Board of Supervisors RESOLVES that: On the basis of a traffic and engineering survey and recommendations thereon by the County Public Works Department's Traffic Engineering Division, and pursuant to County Ordinance Code Sections 46-2.002-46-2.012,the following traffic regulation is established (and other action taken as indicated): Pursuant to Section 22507 of the California Vehicle Code parking is hereby declared to be prohibited during the hours of 7:00—9:00 a.m. and 2:00—4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, on the north side of Hanlon Way (Road No.5385AT), beginning at a point 15 feet east of the center line of the intersection of Loftus Road (Road No. 53840) and extending ';easterly a distance of 160feet, Bayview area. SPECIFIC REQUEST(S)OR RECOMMENDATION(M)&BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION 1. Recommended Action: DIRECT the Director Public Works to report to the Transportation Water and Infrastructure Committee (Committee) on the proposed Neighborhood Traffic Management Program. Ill. Fiscal Impact: None to the General Fund. Reporting on this matter to the Committee can be accomplished within existing budget of the Public Works Department. The financial impacts of any recommendations from the Committee will be included in their future report to the Board. Ill. Reasons for Recommendations and Back-ground: At the November 3, 2003 Transportation Water and Infrastructure Committee, Supervisor Gioia requested a report on the proposed Neighborhood Traffic Management Program that is under development. Jones & Sons, Inc., for the modification of a portion of Byron Highway from Holway Drive to Byron Hot Springs Road in the Byron area, with Liberty Mutual Insurance Company as surety, for work to be performed on the grounds of the County; and The Public Works Director reports that said work has been inspected and complies with the approved plans,special provisions and standard specifications and recommends its acceptance as complete as of November 14, 2003.
