The Board of Supervisors RESOLVES THAT:
The County of Contra. Costa on March 11, 2003, contracted with To
Grade
Construction, Inc. for Parking Lot Repairs of Fire Stations No. 81 and No. 83 at 315
W. Tenth Street and 2717 Gentrytown Drive, Antioch for the Contra Costa County
Fire Protection District, Budget Line Item No. 7300-4836, Authorization No. 0929-
)A H836B, with St. Paul Fire & Marine Insurance Company as surety, for work to be
performed on the grounds of the Fire District; and
The Director of General Services reports that said work has been inspected and
complies with the approved plans and specifications, and recommends its acceptance
as complete as of December 2, 2003; and reconnnends the withholding of$13,000.00
pursuant to the "withhold summary„ provisions of the contract between Top Grade
Construction, Inc. and the Fire District, and.
Therefore, said work is accepted as recommended above, and the Clerk shall file with
the County Recorder a copy of this Resolution and Notice as a Notice of Completion
for said contract; and the Director of General Services, or designee, is directed to
withhold monies otherwise due pursuant to the letter dated November 17, 2003.
