RECOMMENDED ACTION: TERMINATE the emergency action taken by the Beard of Supervisors on June 18, 2002, pursuant to Public Contract Code Sections 22035 and 22050, to repair the erosion along Wildcat Canyon Road, Orinda area. Final costs pending submittal of billing from Condon-Johnson & Associates. iii. Reasons for Recommendations and Background: A. On June 18, 2002, the Board of Supervisors declared an emergency and authorized the Public Works Director to proceed in the most expeditious manner to repair the erosion and failed pavement. B. Repair status: Condon-Johnson &Associates has completed the shoulder repair along a portion of Wildcat Canyon Road consisting of stabilization piles and geogrid reinforced earth embankment, with this work completed the shoulder repair has been repaired, therefore the Emergency Action may be terminated. IV. Consequences of Negative Action: A negative action would have no impact on the replacement of the structure.
