Reasons for Recommendations and Background. The Board of Supervisors on April 9, 2002 authorized the Public Works Director to execute a Consulting Services Agreement in the amount of $70,000 with Berryman & Henigar to provide construction engineering support for the San Pablo Dam Road/May Road Sidewalk project. Additional inspection was needed on the San Pablo Cham Road/May Road Sidewalk project, for sewer lateral relocations, driveway replacements, tree mitigation and May Road leveling. IV. Consequences of Negative Action: If the Consultant Services Agreement with Berryman & Henigar is not approved, it may not be possible to compensate the consultant for construction management services.
