AUTHORIZE the Principal Real Property Agent to sign said claim forms on behalf of the County. D. AUTHORIZE the Public Works Director to charge the project by Journal entry the sum of $2,675.00 and credit the revolving fund monies for the same amount as advanced by the Contra Costa Transportation Authority. II. Financlai Impact: A. The claimant returned the checks totaling $17,255.62 to the Auditor Controller in July 2001. B. Payment totaling $2,675.00 to be made from the State Route 4 East Widening Project, Railroad Avenue to Loveridge Road project, which is 100% reimbursable from Contra Costa Transportation Authority. III, Reasons for Recommendations and Background: A. The claimant was not in a position to accept the funds and the checks were returned to the Auditor Controller in July of this year. Early in December the claimant was available to relocate and submitted new claim forms excluding the original additional payees. B. The claimant resided at a dwelling unit from which she has been displaced because of the highway widening project. The payments are part of the relocation entitlement required by Government Code § 7260, et. Seq. IV, Consequences of Negative Action: The County will not be in compliance with State and Federal law.
