Approval of Contract #26-213-12 will allow the Contractor to continue providing temporary coverage, as requested by the Department, through December 31, 2002 . This Contract° includes a six-month automatic extension through December 31, 2002, in an amount not to exceed $331, 127 . FISCAL IMPACT: This Contract is funded 1005k by State CalWORKs funds through the Employment and Human Services Department . No County funds are required. BACKGROUND/REASON(S) FOR RECOMMENDATION(S) : This Contract meets the social needs of County' s population in that it provides assessments and pre-treatment and pre-sobriety services for substance abusing and mentally ill participants in the CalWORKs program to help eliminate barriers to employment .
