HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 02052002 - C34 THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA Adopted this Carder on February 5, 2002 by the following vote: AYES: SUPERVISOR UILKEMA, GERBER, De SAULNIER, GLOVER, & GIOIA NOES: NONE ABSENT: NONE ABSTAIN: NONE SUBJECT: In the utter of Adjusting the RESOLUTION NO 2002/ 55 Salary Step Placement for two Probation Department employees WHEREAS the Probation Department extended a commitment to two existing employees to allow for a step increment increase. One Deputy Probation Officer l from step 2 to step 3 and one Deputy Probation Officer I'll from step 3 to step 4, WHEREAS the County Salary Regulations, adopted in 1983, do not allow for six month merit increases for employees hired above the first step in their classified salary range without benefit of a Resolution; It is therefore recommended by the Probation;, Department and the Human Resources Department that the 'Board adept this Resolution to address the circumstances listed above.
