II. FINANCIAL,IMPACT: The estimated project cost for the Livorna Road Overlay project is$500,000,funded by Measure C-Return to Source(77%) and the City of Walnut Creek(23%). The estimated project cost for the Loring Avenue&Winslow Street Overlays project is$490,000,funded by Measure C-Return to Source(100%). The estimated project cost for the Pleasant Hill Road Overlay project is $270,000, funded by Measure C- Return to Source(50%)and the City of Pleasant Hill(50%). The estimated project cast for the Port Chicago Highway Overlay project is$648,000 funded by'Measure C- Retrn to Source(100%). REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATION/BACKGROUND: Livorna Road(Alamo area),Loring Avenue&Winslow Street(Crockett area),Pleasant Hill Road(Pleasant Hill area.),&Port',Chicago Highway(Bay Point area),and portions of Rodeo(Suisun Avenue,Fourth Street, Pinole Avenue, &&Napa Avenue)are in need of pavement rehabilitation,which will extend pavement life with routine maintenance overlays and minor road reconstructions where applicable. The projects have been determined to be in with the General Plan and are exempt from CEQA. The proposed projects consist of the minor alteration and maintenance of existing facilities involving no expansion of use beyond that previously existing. The projects will not result in the removal of any scenic resources, IV. CONSEQUENCES OF NEGATIVE ACTION: Delay in approving the projects will result in a delay of design and construction and may jeopardize funding.
