FISCAL IMPACT: $5,000, if the County does the abatement. BACKGROUND/REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATIONS: On Sept. 21, 2000, a complaint was received regarding an occupied motorhome and junkyard conditions on the premises. On October 11, 2000, a site inspection was conducted and the inspection revealed the following violations of the County ordinance: Title 8. Chapter 84-68.14 (mobile home restrictions) Title 8. Chapter 82-2.006 (Maintaining an illegal junkyard) The owner of the property has been notified of the violation(s)through written correspondence and certified mail. As of this date, the motorhome is being legally stored in accordance with Title 8, Chapter 84-68.14, but the property is still in violation of county ordinances due to junkyard conditions. On January 15, 2002, the Building Inspection Department declared the property a public nuisance and posted a Notice Order to Abate under Title 1, Chapter 14-6. This appeal is being made under the provisions of this title. Carlos Baltodano and Dan Stough presented the staff report and recommendations.
