RECOMMENDATION(S):
Approve amendment to Appendix A to the Contra Costa Community College District's Conflict of
Interest Code to substitute the attached Appendix A to said code, as shown on the attached Record of Action
from the District.
BACKGROUNDIREASON(S) FOR RECOMMENDATION(S):
The Contra Costa Community College District has amended Appendix A to its conflict of interest code
and submitted the amendment to the Board for approval pursuant to Government Code section 87306 and
87306.5.

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the attached amended Appendix A to Governing Board
Resolution Establishing Conflict of Interest Code {approved March 24, 1999, Board Report
No. 59-8} be approved.

BACKGROUND
Biannually, the Governing Board is required to review the District's Conflict of
Interest Cade. The Resolution Establishing Conflict of Interest Code provides that
regulations adopted by the State Fair Political Practices Commission and the listing
of position disclosure categories is the Conflict of Interest Code for the District. The
biannual review results in updates to the appendix to show deletions, additions, or
changes of title for positions required to file a conflict of interest statement. The
attached Appendix A shows additions and deletions to the listing of disclosure
categories.
After Governing Board review and approval, Appendix A and Governing Board
Resolution Establishing Conflict of Interest Code will be forwarded to the County
Board of Supervisors for filing in accordance with requirements of state law.
