BACKGROUND: On May 7, 2002, the Board of Supervisors approved the County's participation on a library needs assessment steering committee that has general oversight of a study of library service needs for the Pleasant Hill community and countywide services provided by the Central Library. The interagency agreement approved by the Board with the City of Pleasant Hill specifies the steering committee composition: a 1 member of the Pleasant Hill City Council 1 member of the Board of Supervisors a 1 Representative from the Friends of the Pleasant Hill Library ♦ 1 representative from the Mt. The requested addition of a new seat to the Steering Committee will require an amendment to the interagency agreement between the County and the City of Pleasant Hill that governs the configuration of the Steering Committee.
