Supervised field work experience for students is considered to be an integral part of both the educational and professional preparation. The Health Services Department can provide the requisite field education, while at the same time, taking advantage of the students ' services to patients. FISCAL IMPACT None. No General Funds. Contract costs budgeted by Redevelopment Agency. BACKGROUND California Redevelopment Law requires that all Redevelopment Agencies adopt an Implementation Plan. In 1999 the Agency adopted an Implementation Plan for the time period 2000-2004. A mid-term review is also required by statute. The mid-term review, among other things, evaluates goals and objectives; assesses performance in achieving affordable housing and housing production requirements, and sets new goals for the achievement,of housing requirements. The recommended consultant responded to a competitive RFP,and has extensive experience with the preparation of AB 1290 Implementation Plans, as well as Housing Elements.
