CP# 97-10 Project No. 0662-6R4019 Task: ACQ Account: 3540 SPECIFIC REQUEST(S)OR RECOMMENDATION(S)&BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION I. Recommended Action: A. ACCEPT the Agreement and Grant of Easement dated October 16, 2001 from the State of California, acting by and through the 23rd District Agricultural Association. B. AUTHORIZE the Chair of the Board of Supervisors to execute the Agreement and Grant of Easement on behalf of the County. C. DIRECT the Real Property Division to have the above-referenced Agreement and Grant of Easement recorded in the Office of the County Recorder. II. Financial lmpact: None III. Reasons for Recommendations and Background: These property rights are required for the "L" Street Reconstruction at the Fairgrounds Project in accordance with the approved plans and specifications. CEQA was previously approved by the Board of Supervisors on April 1, 1997. IV. Consequences of Negative Action: The project will not have sufficient land rights to allow construction in accordance with the approved plans and specifications.
