Director DATE: October 16, 2001 SUBJECT: CONTRACT AMENDMENT WITH PUBLIC AFFAIRS MANAGEMENT FOR CONTINUING EIR i PREPARATION FOR THE PROPOSED YMCA PROJECT IN ALAMO (Contract # C46899-00) i SPECIFIC REQUEST(S) OR RECOMMENDATION(S) & BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION i RECOMMENDATIONS Authorize the Community Development Director or his designee to execute a contract amendment with Public Affairs Management for continuing EIR preparation services from November 30, 2001 through March 31, 2002. This amendment, effective October 1, 2001 extends the contract through Marchi 31, 2002 and increases the contract by $ 11,600.00 for a new contract total of$ 149,695.00 I FISCAL IMPACT The cost is covered by revenue recelived from application fee paid by developers. BACKGROUND/REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATIONS The Community Development Department has contracted with Public Affairs Management since December 7, 1999 for EIR preparation services.
