THE CONTRA COSTA COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS, in its capacity as
governing Board of the county of Contra Costa and all districts of which it is ex-officio
governing Board, RESOLVES THAT:
The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County shall APPROVE the attached
Agreement between Contra Costa County and the Deputy Sheriffs' Association
Management Unit. Pursuant to this Agreement, effective October 1 , 2001 all
classifications represented by the Deputy Sheriffs' Association Management Unit will
receive a 4% wage increase.

COUNTY PROPOSAL
2001 DSA MANAGEMENT UNIT NEGOTIATIONS
Presented: September 27, 2001
SECTION 5 - SALARIES
Effective October 1, 2001, salaries for all classifications represented by the DSA
shall receive a four percent (4%) wage increase — notwithstanding ongoing
contract negotiations.
It is understood that this proposal is a part of the settlement package that is
currently being negotiated between the County and the DSA. Additionally, in
order for this proposal to be implemented, a tentative agreement on this proposal
must be reached by October 10, 2001. If agreement is not reached by this time,
the proposal will no longer be binding.
