HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 10162001 - C.25 CONTRA COSTA COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS Adopted this Resolution on October 16, 2001, by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Gioia, Gerber , DeSaulnier, Glover and Uilkema NOES: None ABSENT: None RESOLUTION NO.2001/ 491 (Government Code § 25350) SUBJECT: ADOPT Resolution No. 2001/ 491 accepting the Notice of Intention to Purchase Real Property for Child Day Care at 55 Castlewood Drive, Pittsburg, California Project No. 4421-4468 Pittsburg Area CP# 01-40 RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO PURCHASE REAL PROPERTY The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT: It intends to purchase from Community Bank of Raymore, Successor Trustee to Centeree Bank of Kansas City, N. A., under the William L. Abernathy Charitable Lead Trust, for County Community Services Child Day Care purposes, the real property described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, for $875,000, in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Purchase of Sale Agreement between the County of Contra Costa and Community Bank of Raymore, Successor Trustee to Centeree Bank of Kansas City, N. A., under the William L. Abernathy Charitable Lead Trust, dated , which is a fair and reasonable price therefor. A copy of said agreement is on file in the Public Works Department. This Board will meet on December 4, 2001, at l :00 p.n in the Board's Chambers, County Administration Building, Martinez, California,to consummate this purchase and the Clerk of this Board is DIRECTED to publish the attached notice in the Contra Costa Times pursuant to Government Code Section 6063. This Board hereby FINDS that this activity will not have a significant effect on the environment, and that it has been determined to be exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act under State CEQA guidelines Section 15061 (b)(3). This Board DIRECTS the Director of Community Development to file a Notice of Exemption with the County Clerk, and DIRECTS the Public Works Director to arrange for payment of the$25.00 fee to the County Clerk for filing and a $25.00 fee to Community Development for processing of the Notice of Exemption. This activity has been found to conform to the General Plan of the City of Pittsburg. This Board having considered the general plan FINDS that in accordance with its Resolution No. 81/522, this termination is minor in nature and is therefore exempt from general plan conformance review.
