SUBJECT: APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Public Works Director to execute a contract with Dolores
Morales for the provision of recreational programming in County Service Area P-1 (Crockett) in
the amount of $32,500.00, effective October 1, 2001 to December 31, 2002, Crockett area.

SPECIFIC REQUEST(S)OR RECOMMENDATION(S)&BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION
I. Recommended Action:
APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Public Works Director to execute a contract with Dolores Morales
for janitorial services and community programming and in Crockett.
Il. Financial Impact:
There is no impact to the County General Fund. County Service Area P-1 (Crockett) funds will pay
100% of the costs associated with Dolores Morales' contract.

III. Reasons for Recommendations and Background:
Dolores Morales has been a County Contract employee for approximately 5%2 years. The County
Service Area P-1 Advisory Committee approved and recommended a $2.00 per hour raise based
on her performance.
IV. Consequences of Negative Action:
Janitorial services and community programming for the County Service Area P-1 (Crockett)will be
negatively impacted without implementation of this payment limit increase.
