CONVENE
MEETING OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
OF
CONTRA COSTA COUNTY
October 9, 2001
Chair Gayle B. Uilkema convened the meeting of the Board of Supervisors this day at 9:00 a.m., in the
Board Chambers, Room 107, of the County Administration Building, 651 Pine Street, Martinez, California.
The Deputy Clerk called the roll, Supervisors present were:
John Gioia, District I;
Donna Gerber, District III
Mark DeSaulnier, District IV
Federal D. Gover, District V
and Chair, Gayle B. Uilkema, District II
Following the meeting, the Board adjourned to Closed Session. Following Closed Session, County County
announced by unanimous vote, with all Supervisors present, By unanimous vote,with all Supervisors present,the
Board authorized amicus curiae participation in the case of In re Zeth S.,and authorized the County Counsel to send a letter to
the Califomia Supreme Court asking the Court to review the appellate court's decision or, in the altemative to depublish the
opinion. The Board then adjourned.
