BACKGROMiD/REASON('S) FOR RECOMMENDATION(S) For several years the County has contracted with registries to provide temporary personnel for assistance during peak loads, temporary absences and emergency situations in critical areas . The Centra Costa Health Plan: is required by State regulations to maintain accurate, patient accounting. Due to a temporary staffing shortage this Contract is necessary to provide temporary medical record technicians while permanent placement is in progress . Under Contract #27-498, Assignment Ready, Inc . (dba Healthcare Financial Staffing) will provide medical record technicians for the Health Plan, through August 31, 2001 . On January 4, 2000, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract ##24- 681-45 with William and Elvisa Alejandro' (dba Paraiso Homes) , for the period from December 1, 1999 through November 30, 2000, for the provision of Augmented Board and Care Services for mentally disordered clients.
