Reasons for Recommendations and Background: A. On July 24, 2001, the Board of Supervisors declared an emergency and authorized the Public Works Director to proceed in the most expeditious manner to repair the Bridge. B. Repair status: The solution uses sections of a prefabricated Bailey style bridge to span the creek. Hess Construction Company has constructed the foundation and installed the bridge. Consequences of Negative Action: A negative action would slow the process of the replacement structure and would cause the project to be delayed to 2002.
