HWW, Inc . (dba Ad Club Advertising Services)
SPECIFIC REQUEST(S)OR RECOMMENDATION(S)&BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION
RECOMMENDATION(S) :
Approve and authorize the Health Services Director to execute on
behalf of the County, Contract #23-251-5 with HWW, Inc . (dba Ad Club
Advertising Services) in an amount not to exceed $100 , 000 , to
provide advertising services for recruitment of new employees for
the Health Services Department, for the period from January 1, 2002
through March 31, 2002 .
FISCAL IMPACT:
Funding for this Contract is . included in the Health Services
Department ' s Budget .
BACKGROUND/REASON(S) FOR RECOMMENDATION(S) :
In order to recruit qualified individuals for its vacant positions,
particularly in the area of direct patient care, the Health Services
Department must place advertisements in such media as newspapers and
professional journals .
On January 16, 2001, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract
#23-251-4 with HWW, Inc . , (dba Ad Club Advertising Services) , for
the period from January . l, 2001 through December 31, 2001, to
provide advertising services for the Department ' s Personnel Office .
Approval of Contract #23-251-5 will allow the Contractor to continue
providing services through March 31, 2002 .
