SUBJECT: Approval of Contract #23-296-1 with Peggy Takahashi e7,1017
SPECIFIC REQUEST(S)OR RECOMMENDATION(S)&BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION
RECOMMENDATION(S) :
Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee
(Pat Godley) to execute on behalf of the County, Contract #23-296-1
with Peggy Takahashi, in an amount not to exceed $45, 760, to provide
consultation and technical assistance to the Information Systems
Director with regard to Meditech software, for the period from
December 1, 2001 through November 30 , 2002 .
FISCAL IMPACT•
Funding for .this Contract is included in the Department ' s Enterprise
I budget .
BACKGROUND/REASON(S) FOR RECOMMENDATION(S) :
In December 2000 , the County Administrator approved and the
Purchasing Services Manager executed Contract #23-296 with Peggy
Takahashi, for the period from December 1 , 2000 through November 30,
2001, to provide consultation and technical assistance to the
Information Systems Director with regard to preparation for Meditech
software upgrade .
Approval of Contract #23-296-1 will allow the Contractor to continue
providing services through November 30 , 2002 .
