SPECIFIC REQUEST(S)OR RECOMMENDATION(S)&BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION
I. Recommended Action:
ACCEPT the Grant Deed dated December 3, 2001 from RICHARD J. CLANCY AND CLAIRE
E. CLANCY.
DIRECT the Real Property Division to have the above-referenced Grant Deed recorded in the
Office of the County Recorder.
This Board hereby FINDS that the proposed donation will not have a significant effect on the
environment, and DETERMINES that the activity is not subject to the California Environmental
Quality Act under State CEQA guidelines Section 15061 (b)(3), and DIRECTS the Director of
Community Development to file a Notice of Exemption with the County Clerk and DIRECTS
the Public Works Director to arrange for payment of a $25.00 fee to the County Clerk for filing
and a $25.00 fee to Community Development for processing of the Notice of Exemption.

II. Financiallmpact:
None.
Ill. Reasons for Recommendations and Background:
The acceptance of this donation provides the opportunity for the County to develop facilities
without the expense of purchasing land. The site is currently undeveloped, measuring
± 20,000 square feet. The parcel is located near the Contra Costa College Campus and the
West County Probation Department.
IV. Consequences of Negative Action:
Negative action would require the County to purchase property for future County facilities in
this area.
