On this date, the Board of Supervisors adjourned this meeting in
memory of Mrs. Maria Marchesi, resident of Contra Costa
County, 90 years young. Mrs. Marchesi enjoyed a long career in
education, including 12 years at the University level. She also
performed community service in several northern California
communities through a foreign language radio program for 25
years.
