The 1997 Rodeo Downtown/Waterfront Specific Plan also contemplated the provision of streetscape improvements (street furniture, decorative street lighting, and landscaping) as an initial step to revitalizing the downtown area. An opportunity to combine Agency Funds, Utility Undergrounding Funds, and Tosco Transportation Mitigation Funds to accomplish this approximate $2.9 million project exists at this time. The project design phase is expected to take the bulk of 2001, with an anticipation of construction in the spring/summer of 2002. JK:ln W: 1Personal\BoardOrders\10.24.rodeoparkerave.
