BACKGRO NDMASON(S) FOR RECOMMENDATION(S): The West Contra Costa Transportation Advisory Committee has amended appendixes A and B to its conflict of interest code and submitted the amendment to the Board for approval pursuant to Government Code section 87306 and 87306.5. RESOLUTION 00-05 WCCTAC RESOLUTION ADOPTING CHANGES TO THE CONFLICT OF INTEREST POLICY WHEREAS,the West Contra Costa Transportation Advisory Committee (WCCTAC),through a "Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement,"is the West Contra Costa Regional Transportation Planning Committee; and WHEREAS, WCCTAC's members include the cities of El Cerrito,Hercules, Pinole,Richmond, and San Pablo; and the transit agencies AC Transit,BART,and WestCAT;and Contra Costa County; and WHEREAS", WCCTAC is charged with assessing the transportation needs and coordinating the actions of its members with regard to transportation issues; and WHEREAS, WCCTAC adopted Resolution 96-02 in June 1996 establishing the Conflict of Interest Code; and WHEREAS, in 1988 there were no changes to the Conflict of Interest Code. NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of the West Contra Costa Transportation Advisory Committee that the following changes are incorporated into the Conflict of Interest Code: • Adds the Transportation Project Manager to the list of designated positions and adds Disclosure Categories 1, 2, and 3 as listed in Appendix A. Changes FPPC Forms 730 and 721 to FPPC Form 700 in appendix B. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the information and a copy of this Resolution will be forwarded to the County Administrator, Contra Costa County. The foregoing Resolution was adopted by the WCCTAC at the regular meeting on September 29, 2000. Approved: John E.
