RESOLUTION NO. 2000/56
WHEREAS, the DE LA SALLE SPARTANS football team, coached by BOB
LADOUCEUR have had an undefeated 12 -0 football season; and
WHEREAS, the DE LA SALLE SPARTANS football team holds the ongoing national record
with a 100 game win streak; and
WHEREAS, the DE LA SALLE SPARTANS football team is the North Coast Section 4A
Champion; and
WHEREAS, the DE LA SALLE SPARTANS football team is ranked No. 1 in the State by
Cal High Sports and is ranked No. 3 in the Nation by USA Today.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors honors the DE LA
SALLE SPARTANS Football Team and COACH BOB LADOUCEUR for the undefeated
1999 football season and wishes the team continued success.
PASSED AND ADOPTED ON February 15, 2000, by a unanimous vote of the Board
members present.

RESOLUTION NO. 2000/57
WHEREAS, the DE LA SALLE SPARTANS Water Polo Team coached by
SCOTT HIRSCH came in first in the 1999 BVAL; and
WHEREAS, the DE LA SALLE SPARTANS Water Polo Team then went on to
win second place in the North Coast Section, and
WHEREAS, the DE LA SALLE SPARTANS Water Polo Team maintained a
team grade point average of 3.44 during the water polo season.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors honors the
DE LA SALLE SPARTANS Water Polo Team and COACH SCOTT HIRSCH
for the 1999 water polo season and wishes them continued success.

1999 Volleyball Season )
RESOLUTION NO. 2000/58
WHEREAS, the CARONDELET COUGARS Volleyball Team coached by
STEPHANIE CLINE is the 1999 BVAL Co-Champion with a league record of 17-1;
and
WHEREAS, the CARONDELET COUGARS Volleyball Team captured the North Coast
Section Championship title for the first time in ten years; and
WHEREAS, the CARONDELET COUGARS Volleyball Team maintained a grade point
average of 3.6 during the volleyball season.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors honors the
CARONDELET COUGARS Volleyball Team and COACH STEPHANIE CLINE
for the 1999 Volleyball Season and wishes them continued success.

WHEREAS, the DE LA SALLE SPARTANS Cross Country Team coached by
KEVIN SELBY came in first in the 1999 BVAL; and
WHEREAS, the DE LA SALLE SPARTANS Cross Country Team then went on to
win second place in the North Coast Section Division II meet, and
WHEREAS, the DE LA SALLE SPARTANS Cross Country Team maintained a
team grade point average of 3.27 during the cross country season.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors honors the

RESOLUTION NO. 2000/60
WHEREAS, the YGNACIO VALLEY WARRIORS Football Team, coached by TIM MURPHY won the
1999 BVAL championship; and
WHEREAS, the YGNACIO VALLEY WARRIORS Football Team, went on to win the 1999 North Coast
Section Division II championship; and
WHEREAS, the YGNACIO VALLEY WARRIORS Football Team, was ranked 10" in the State of
California at the end of the football season;and
WHEREAS, the YGNACIO VALLEY WARRIORS, are the first YGNACIO VALLEY HIGH SCHOOL
football team to win the North Coast Section Championship in the school's 37 year history; and
WHEREAS, the YGNACIO VALLEY WARRIORS football team maintained a team grade point average of
over 3.0 during the football season; and
WHEREAS, COACH TIM MURPHY has been extraordinary in his preparation and dedication to
the YGNACIO VALLEY WARRIORS student/athletes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supetvison honors THE YGNACIO VALLEY
WARRIORS Football Team and COACH TIM MURPHY for the 1999 football season and wishes
them continued success.
PASSED AND ADOPTED ON February 15, 2000, by a unanimous vote of the Board members present.

DENNIS BLEDSOE, won the 1999 BVAL championship; and
WHEREAS, the CLAYTON VALLEY EAGLES Girls' Water Polo Team went on to
the second round of North Coast Section championships; and
WHEREAS, the CLAYTON VALLEY EAGLES Girls' Water Polo Team is a North Coast
Section distinguished scholastic team with a team grade point average of 3.54.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors honors the
CLAYTON VALLEY EAGLES Girls' Water Polo Team and COACH DENNIS
BLEDSOE for the 1999 water polo season and wishes them continued success.

WHEREAS, the YGNACIO VALLEY WARRIORS Cross Country Boys' Team, coached by
TRISS CARTER name in second in the 1999 BVAL; and
WHEREAS, the YGNACIO VALLEY WARRIORS Cross Country Boys' Team, then went
on to win the 1999 Division I Championship at the North Coast Section meet; and
WHEREAS, the YGNACIO VALLEY WARRIORS, are the first YGNACIO VALLEY
HIGH SCHOOL cross country boys' team to win the Forth Coast Section Championship in
the school's 3 7 year history; and
WHEREAS, the YGNACIO VALLEY WARRIORS Cross Country Boys'Team maintained
a team grade point average of 3.21 during the cross country season; and
WHEREAS, COACH TRISS CARTER has been extraordinary in her preparation and
dedication to the YGNACIO VALLEY WARRIORS student/athletes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors honors the
YGNACIO VALLEY WARRIORS Cross Country Boys' Team and COACH TRISS
CARTER for the 1999 cross country season and wishes them continued success.
