The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES:
L. Augt t 17, 1939,the Board of Supervisorss adopted Resolution Nei, /427 dir�tirfg �filing cif
the engineer's report for street light charges for County Service Area L-100. As directed by the
Beard,the Engineer of Work has filed the engineer's report.
1 On August 17, 1999,the Board adopted Resolution No. 42 d declaring the Board's intention to
levy and collect steet light charges to operate and maintain facilities and services within CSA L-100
for fish year 1999-00 and setting a public hag for October 12, 1999. Notice of the hearing was
given mi the time and manner required by law.
3. Resolution No.99/427 directed the Engineer of work(Public Works Direr)to cause to be mailed
to property owner within Subdivision 7954 the notices and ballots required by Section 4 of Article
XIII D of the California Constitution(Proposition 218).
4. The notices and ballots have been mailed to property owners and the returned ballasts are ready to
be tabulated.
NOW,THEREFORE,the Board FSS,D ° R: 'ES and ORDERS that:
1 e A public hearing was held before this Board car,October 12, 1949 at 4:00 a.m.At the hearing,the
Engineer of 'Work presented to the Board all ballots rived ftorn property overs within
Subdivision 7954 a proposed tabulation of those ballots. The Board heard and considered all
pretests against the proposed assessments and tabulated the retied ballots according to the
proportional financial obligation of the affected properties. The Board also afforded to every
interested person an opportunity to make a protest to the engineer's report,either its writing or orally,
and the Board considered each protest.
S. A majority protest,as defined its section 4(e)of Article X111 D,does not exist.
9. The Board hereby confirms the diagram and assessment as set forth in the report of the Engineer of
`work and hereby levies the street light charges set forth therein.in Subdivision 7954 for fiscal year
1999-00.
