On September 14, 1999, the Board of Supervisors continued to this date the appeal of
Dego?t Engineering(Applicant) and Emerald SVL T LLC (Owner) from tie decision of
the Sari Ramon regional Planing Commission to subdivide 4 acres of land into 5 lets.
(County File#SD95m4163). The property is located at#1106 Danville Blvd., or:.be cast
side of Dwgvil=e Boulevard and south of Gurney Lane, Alamo area.
The public hearing was closed on September 14, 1999, and the Board declared their
intent to approve the subdivision for S lots with modified conditions of approval. They
further determined they would consider the adoption of the f ndangs and the approval of
the Vesting'Tentative Map on this date.
At today's hearing, Supervisor Gerber noted there were some relative issues to be
clarified before today's hearing and suggested that the iter:be continued to October 19,
1999, at 11:00 a.m. Supervisor Gioia seconded the motion.

To ensure the safety of our students, it'isimportant that all drivers follow the tree rules
below. Please she this informition with gayone who will pick up your child/ren at school.

PARKLNG"si have been installed on Hernme Avenue along the Primary
Playground, DONOT PARK in this area between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. _11.en wing at
school to drop off your clhnMren, please pall as close as possible to the curb along the primary
playground. This will allow the necessary two-way traffic flow along Hernme. Such unimpeded

To alleviate congestion,,please have children ready to exit the car upon pulling up to the
Drop-Off ore. At Pick,Up Time, if your rides are not present in front of the schools DO NOT
PARKAND WAIT, Your may temporarily double park'behind the std cars on the far gest side of
the parking lots but do not leave your care
1. The DROP-OFF and PICK-UP ZOO,located in firont of the offices 1S-A NO PARQ
ZONE. DO NOT GET OUT OR LEAVE YOUR CAR. Students'rrrast exit from the curb
side of the ear. Do nest allow students to exit oar into the dough traffic lane. Please do not
allow your children to exit the ear while waiting alongside the primary playground, while in
front of the YMCAs or alongside the kindergarten classroom. Do not pari or leave your car
While in any of these areas.
2. The Bus Zone is indicated by the RED CURB just past the ogee. Do not park or stop in
the red zone unless directed to advance to that area by staff or parents on traffic duty. The
buses need that spm to park and depart from the school lot.
3. The Handicap Parking and Stopping Zone is indicated by a BLUE CURB. DO NOT PARK

4. The gravel walkway located on the fes° 'west side of the std parking lot must be used by
students who walk or ride bikes from and to the West side of the school.
5. Students who walk or ride bikes from and to the East must eater and exit through the
primary.playground and use the sidewalk to and from the Iron Horse Trail.
6. Please do not wait or park bead cars already parked in a designated space.

My concern is that the 31 foot buffer area lying southerly of
y property be utilized exclusively for landscaping and not include
noise producing hardscape such as sidewalks, bike pathse etc.
I would also request that the houses on lots l and 5 be
positioned so as to enhance the security of the subdivision, and my
property, ie "Eyes on the Street Concept".
